News for the Symmetry crew in 2010!

Teddy, Topper and yes even their mother Kinsey (who will be 10 on Feb. 2, 2012) continue their agility careers, and hopefully we will be doing more obedience and rally obedience this year.

Kinsey's granddaughter Dakota has both her majors in conformation - toward her AKC Championship - and has started formal agility training.

Photos will be posted as soon as possible!

Start the year off right!

Jan. 23, 2010 - Teddy - handled by my hubby Ronnie -finished his Novice Jumpers With Weaves Agility title with a first place in a large class!  Now he can add that "NAJ" to the end of his name!

First show, first WIN!!

Feb 6, 2010 - At her very first show and just 6 months old, Dakota WON and receives her first point!!  What a great way to start!  To make things even better, papa Keeper won Best of Breed!

We took a photo of father and daughter together - see photo to the right.

And the very next day, her litter brother Finder won and got HIS first point!

First MAJORS for the "Jeepers" litter!!

March 26, 2010: The Keeper x Jazz litter attended their first major shows.  They were all shown in the 6 - 9 month puppy class.

At the AM specialty of the GDCGD, "Titan" Calypso's Purposely Built Perfection took a major reserve!  He is owned by Debbie Cole and was handled by Susan Taylor.

At the PM specialty of the GDCGD, "Porsche" Calypso's Red Hot Porsche Cayenne owned by Mike and Kathy Nelson went Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a FOUR POINT MAJOR!  She was handled by her breeder Vicki Monson in the class, by my hubby Ronnie Wilson in Winners and by Kathy in the BOB class!  Way to GO!!!

On Saturday March 27, "Finder" Calypso's All Terrain owned by Karen Schuller and handled by Ronnie went WD for HIS first major!!  Finder is pictured to the left.

Then to round things off, on Sunday March 28 Porsche went Reserve Winners bitch, handled all the way by Kathy!

 WAY TO GO!!!

Agility brags for mother and son!

Wichita Falls, April 24-25: Teddy completed the requirements for his Novice FAST title! The FAST class in AKC agility requires the dog to complete certain obstacles at a distance from the handler, so it's a very nice achievement for a dog who is relatively new to agility!

He is now Ch. Symmetry's Make Vrroom For Daddy, RN, NA, NF.   He just finished his Novice Agility Jumpers title in January, and has 2 of the 3 necessary qualifying scores toward his Novice Standard agility title - so the Teddy Bear is off to a bang-up start on his agility career!  He is also doing very well with his obedience training, and hopefully will be able to add an obedience title before the end of the year.

Not to be outdone, his mother Kinsey got 2 qualifying scores toward her Open FAST title.  At 8 years young, Kinsey can still hold her own in the agility arena!!

MASTERS Agility!
Oct. 20, 2010: At the Great Dane Club of America National Specialty in Pine Bluff Arkansas, Kinsey got a First place in Excellent B Jumpers with Weaves - this was her 10th qualifying score in Exc. B Jumpers and thus completed her Masters Agility Jumpers title!  She is now Ch. Calypso's Vrroom With A View, NA, MXJ, NF, RN!!
2011 News: First major!
July 2, 2011 - Dakota (Calypso's Get Me Outta Dodge) - handled by Barb - got her first major at the Great Dane Club of Oklahoma Specialty under judge Nancy D Simmons.  The following weekend with Ronnie, she got back-to-back major reserves at the Dallas shows - so close, but no points that time!
Second major for Dakota!
Dec. 10, 2011:  Dakota (handled by Ronnie) won her second major at the Texas Kennel Club show during the Lone Star cluster in Dallas, under judge Mrs. Robert D Smith.  She now has both her majors, despite being shown on a very limited basis, and is just looking for a few more singles to finish her AKC Championship!  As with all of our dogs, she has been owner-handled all the way by either Ronnie or Barb.
